Using a Promocode

If you’ve been lucky enough to get a promo code you may be wondering how the heck to use that little beauty! I know when I got my first code I wondered the same. *dream sequence, remembers first code*

Ok – back in the room. All you need to do is:

copy the code or get it where you can see it to type it in
open iTunes, click on Store

Now on the RIGHT-HAND side > under Quick Links > there is a link that says REDEEM.

Click that and it opens to a full page where you can enter in your code. You’ll have to type your code in or use your keyboard shortcuts CMD + V to paste the code into it.

picture-94 Don’t forget you will need to have a USA account to redeem. (It currently only works with those accounts).

You can set up an account if you sign out of your account and then click “sign in” in the top right corner of iTunes.

Then you can create a new account. Make sure when you set it up you have USA as the chosen country. Also, set it up for Gift Card use, so you do not have to enter any billing information.
