Well, over 1 billion apps have been downloaded, and I’m sure it’s not just me!
Some developers have earned hundreds of thousands from one application. Are you ready to jump in? You need to grab yourself a copy of the iPhone software development kit – which provides tools and resources for creating apps. This has already been downloaded 800,000 times.
To accompany Episode 5s One More Byte, here are the resources mentioned, plus a few more!

SPECIAL MENTION * Web Designer Depot *
Special mention has to go to this wonderful site. Web designer Depot has some incredible resources for all your iPhone development needs. Tonnes of links for you to design and plan your app. Really worth a look. (You may find yourself spending a lot of time there!)

Which also has this totally fantastic stencil kit from Yahoo. Worth a download!

Lastly worth a mention is this book
Beginning iPhone Development: Exploring the iPhone SDK (Paperback) by Dave Mark (Author), Jeff LaMarche (Author) This is what I am currently following and it is really well written especially if you are newer to the SDK or programming in general. It explains why you are entering code and what the effects of it are. Practical exercises to follow along with as well. Here is the amazon link for more information.

Happy Developing – and don’t forget folks – let us know when you make that app! We’d love to hear from you – how you went about it, if you used tutorials or what your inspiration was.
If we missed your favorite give us a shout and we will be happy to add it.
