Elf $0.99 Developer : Matmi

A nice little holiday app that will do a great job of entertaining you. It is very similar to the beautiful WinterBells game that’s on the Internet, the game play is similar except you have the iPhone fun factor of just tilting the device and it being responsive.

There are little power ups and boosts which are nice too and if you do miss and fall he glides nicely back down which is cute. See the above video for game play.

This is a really fun app for making nice Christmas / Holiday frames around images. You can use existing images or take new ones. It is the kind of app that would be pretty fun around the family and letting the kids have a go at making the frames and funny pictures of Grandpa (or Grandma ok ok)!

There are photo effects, messages and a lot of ways you can send it out from SMS to email to Facebook too! Roguesheep have made this app initially as Postage which did really well in the app store and continues to do well, they have expanded by creating these nice holiday varieties and they had made one for Easter too. This means that they have a lot of experience behind them and have really been able to perfect these apps.

Worth a look at.

Any game called Santa’s Sack has to be looked at and this has just been put on the store for FREE so at that price it’s worth getting. This game is a pretty simple and fun game where you have Santa’s Sack and you have to catch the gifts in it. you have a lot of lives so that adds to the fun factor.

There are quite a few Christmas / Holiday apps floating around out there that are worth a look at. These are the ones I have had a chance to try out and use. I did cast an eye on A Frantic Santa Situation and Santas Delivery Dash which also look fun.

Don’t forget there are also the fun Grinchmas apps we looked at earlier in the week! And of course Snowy’s Christmas Pinball.

[EDITOR] We have come across this little freebie as well that you may like to try A HURRY Christmas.

It has several different little games in it and is a cute little timewaster over the holidays.

Lastly,

we got word late last night from Christmas Elves that SnoGlobe $0.99 another app from Roguesheep, has just hit the app store. It is similar to their postage apps as you can put your picture into it but this time you are in a snow globe.
