iTie - Krawattenknoten

iTie is a fab little app that gives tie novices the chance learn vital tie knotting skills. With this free app it gives you step by step guidance to tie you guessed it … your tie! With simple diagrams and clearly written instructions you can’t go wrong with this useful little app, it does exactly what is says on the tin!iTie

What is good about this application: The iTie allows you to change the speed of how quick the instructions play (yeah yeah I know I got it wrong on the show, slap my wrists!). You can also pause, fast forward and rewind letting you revisit instructions you may have missed or skip parts you have already done.

iTie isn’t an all singing all dancing application but does exactly what you would expect it to. With basic imagery and simple list formats it’s not one you would pick to use for fun, and it isn’t going to win any beauty awards but you get what you need, plus it’s my favourite price: FREE!

What could be improved: The only real way I could see this app being improved upon is by adding more tie variants, but that is what you get when your fork out on the full paid version. Me being a bit geeky would like to see the designers get a bit creative and let you pick your own tie, letting you mix it up with different lengths colours and styles of tie, or is that one step too far?

Anyway overall a good little app, a must for all those people out there who own a clip on tie, you know who you are. Be brave, iTie is there to hold your hand.

[There is a premium version available which has more tie styles including the difficult Bow tie. Premium Link for iTunes app Store. ]
