The utility and other category was interesting. I really love to find apps that have some ‘use’ for us or a way to make things easier or quicker. These apps were my faves from the finalists.
Position App: Charting Global Success (see video above)
When I saw this app I thought it might become a really useful tool for developers. Of course I haven’t had a chance to play with it and it will depend on how it actually works for the people who will find it useful.
[Winner in Category] Here File File
This seems a great app that is one typically seen in this category. This one seems to offer a lot more than most and I really would like to give it a try to see if it lives up to the video information of it.
Twitter 360 - this app is available on the app store currently on sale at $0.99
This app looks interesting. I’m undecided if it’s in a good way or not! I will get my hands on it and give it a spin and then see how it works. I like the idea of it and it’s great to see more and more apps using features that are breaking away from traditional thinking with app design. (Hmm I’m sure there is such a thing!)
Will be interesting to see if this takes off.
