This is a photography application that will turn the photos you take into Lego looking pictures. This really isn””t anything ground breaking or terribly new but there are so many lego fans out there that we think this will appeal to all ages. Also, the sound it makes when you click the photo to “lego” it is fantastic! It””s a freebie so it””s worth a try.

This is a really fun time management game. Yes, there are tones of this style of game already on the store but when I gave this app a try, I could not put it down! I had to play as many levels as possible in one sitting, and this is the good thing about this app, it has a lot of playability in it, it takes a while to complete the levels. There are 35 levels, and several different types of areas, from deserts to snowy places.

You do have strategy aspects to it, trying to make enough cash in order to complete the goals. I played for almost a week solid and still hadn””t finished it. This is great value for money! One thing to add is I would love if there was some type of level that was unlimited so I could keep collecting money. I hope they bring out HM2!

Knocking Live Video Developer: Pointy Heads LLC Version: 1.1

This app is an interesting way to make use of the camera on your phone. You just “knock” on a friends phone and grant them access to it. Then they can see exactly what you see. The developers describe it as a mobile web cam, which is exactly what it is. There was also a lot of talk about the app at the time because it was reported that Steve Jobs personally approved this app.

Do make a note that many of the recent reviews are saying that it sends an email to ALL your contacts, and you can””t actually choose which contact it goes to. This really needs to be changed fast and at this time I couldn””t find information about it. If you know if this has been changed please let us know!

Social Flyr Developer: StartupArtist Version: 1.25

This is an app from the Productivity category and it makes sending out invites fun. Using this app you create a flyr to advertise or promote your event. You can then send it out across your social networks. Worth having a look at the free version, but if you do send out invitations or want to promote an event then this might be a good way to go!

Hipstamatic Developer: Synthetic Infatuation LLC Version: 150

This is an interesting app but there does seem to be a few things people are still asking for, which hopefully will appear in a future version… You currently can””t import photos already taken which means there is far less scope for this app. Especially when you consider there are in app purchases, which is fine but if you can””t use it with photo you have already taken then again it makes it far less useful so be aware of this if you do purchase the app.
