Whoaaah you mean it’s not just the two of you?!

That’s right, there’s a whole bunch of stuff happening behind the scenes at Apps & Hats. This is a list of the folks who have been on the team and are continually part of the action. Of course there have been a lot of other people who help out along the way through their generous support, ReTweets, mentioning us to others, and generally stylistic things (like when I get things wrong which happens a fair bit!).

I’m an ex fashion student gone awry who decided to leave that very sparkly world behind me and I’m now trying to move in on all the graphic design geeks territory. (Sorry guys!)

I love creating, but my sewing skills don’t get me too far on a computer so I’m trying to learn as much as I can on a Creative Digital Communications course. P.S. I don’t speak geek so try and keep it simple!

Kate Swindells Styling / wardrobe / amazing clothing maker

Having completed a degree in Costume Interpretation at Wimbledon School of Art in 2005, I have divided my time between teaching Textiles and Millinery and working on various projects for theatres, film and museums.

My main area of interest is in period costume; from the research stages right through to exploring materials and embellishment techniques.

Rob Lavers Composing & playing his original musical score

Ten years performing in London both as a leader and as a featured instrumentalist.

His versatility as a musician has brought him into contact with an impressive array of musicians working in styles ranging from flamenco, latin, funk, afrobeat, dance/electronica to acoustic and improvised contemporary jazz.
